2014年4月21日，NUCL-X课题组博士研究生刘云鹏等人的学术论文《Energy deposition, Optimization Design, and Performance of Space Radiation-Voltaic Batteries》、博士研究生陈飞达等人的论文《Structure Design and Shielding Performance Calculation of a High-Integrity Final Disposal Cask for Spent Fuel by using the Monte Carlo Method》、博士研究生耿长冉等人的论文《Radiation Environment and Dosimetry Analysis with Chinese astronaut on the Lunar Surface》被SCI期刊《Nuclear Science and Techniques》录用。上述三篇学术论文将被《Nuclear Science and Techniques》ISORD-7会议增刊收录，整刊将被SCI收录。至此，课题组2014年新增录用SCI学术论文已有四篇。
